National Graph
The National Graph project is a collaborative approach to building a national-level graph of persistent identifiers. This new capability provides insights into the collaborations between research institutions, industry, and international partners.
43% of Investigators for ARC grants have missing links to ORCID
From 2001 to 2023, 43% of Investigators associated with Australian Research Council (ARC) grants lacked links to ORCID. However, there has been notable improvement in recent years; by 2022, only 25% of Investigators had missing ORCID links. This positive trend can be attributed to the growing prominence of ORCID and its enhanced interoperability with funding agencies.
19% of organizations that participated in ARC grants can be linked to ROR identifiers
Within the landscape of Australian Research Council (ARC) grants, it’s notable that 19% of participating organizations have established links to ROR (Research Organization Registry) identifiers. The ROR system provides unique, persistent identifiers for research organizations worldwide, ensuring that their involvement in various research activities can be accurately tracked and attributed. The fact that only a fraction of organizations involved in ARC grants have ROR identifiers suggests that there is potential for greater integration and utilisation of these identifiers.
